Thin Film Polarizers

Thin Film Polarizers are a component coated with dielectric multilayers with the main task of separating vertically polarized (s-pol.) from horizontally polarized (p-pol.) light. Anti-Reflective Optics

OPTOMAN AR optics are coated with the most advanced coating technology – Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS). IBS AR coatings are extremely durable and environmentally stable due to the density of layers. The near bulk density of thin-film AR coating allows lowering the absorption to a minimum and thus reaching very high transmittance values, all while mitigating the thermal lensing effect. Moreover, OPTOMAN is capable of manufacturing micro-optics and coatings on fast-axis collimators (FAC).
